Umber

A naturally occurring iron oxide, that is finished from a manganese enriched form of goethite. Umber is used to color cement and cement products, roofing granules, clay brick, canvas, large animal feeds, coatings, grouts and urethane floor coverings. It is lightfast, insoluble in water, resistant to alkalis and weak acids, and nonreactive with solvents, oils, and most resins.
